The Priestly Blessing – cont.

The context of the Priestly blessing from Numbers 6 is very instructive. At first glance, it appears to be out of
place and to sort of stick out like a sore thumb. Chapter 6 of Numbers describes the dramatic
Nazirite vow – the most serious vow an Israelite could make before his
God.

The Priestly blessing

One
of the great passages of the Old Testament, by any measure, is a beautiful
blessing that priests were to bestow upon the people.  Thinks about this text for awhile.  I plan to write about it in several
ways:  devotionally, practically, and
