I have, at long last, joined the Facebook community. Why did I do it? Perhaps you have seen the breathless pronouncements of the evolution popularizers in recent days – claiming to have found, at long last, THE Missing Link! A couple of basic wise principles: 1) Don’t believe everything you read in a newspaper. 2) Believe even less if it comes from the great Evolution Propagandists of our day. I would encourage you to follow this link and read about the amazing discovery of this great text from Numbers 6 on a silver amulet scroll in Jerusalem. As the article explains, this is the oldest portion of Scripture ever found! This weekend, the 36th Street congregation celebrates our 85th anniversary as a church meeting in Vienna. We plan to have a full day of worship and fellowship and activities to commemorate this milestone. I look forward to next week being a part of the Inman Seminar at Ohio Valley University.
